DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICKUP?

I do! If you are local to the address 145 W Third Street in Waynesboro PA you can use the discount code LOCAL ONLY at checkout to skip any shipping fees. Once your items are ready to pickup from The Velvet Cafe, you will receive an email. This email will say that your items have shipped, but that is just the default email and I can not change it. Your items will not ship if you use the code LOCAL PICKUP. This email will be your notification as to when your items will be ready for you to pick up. You can pick your item(s) up during their business hours which are:

Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday - Friday 11am - 7:30pm

Saturday 7am - 7:30pm

Sunday 11am - 7:30pm

RETURN, EXCHANGE, AND REFUND POLICY

I do not accept returns or exchanges. It is your responsibility to look at all of the photos shown and all of the product details in the description before you purchase it. If you have any questions BEFORE you buy, please email me! I post previews before all of my updates so that you are able to look at each item closely!

If your piece(s) are broken in transit email me immediately at bluelemonadeceramics@gmail.com. I must receive your email within 3 days after your delivery date in order to process the claim. Take photographs of everything. Keep all packaging and contents until I advise you to get rid of them. We will need the contents, the packaging materials, and photographs of the contents and packaging materials to file a claim with the shipping service used. You will be issued a full refund if your piece(s) are broken in transit!

CONSIDERATIONS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ABOUT MY STYLE

Each piece I make is one of a kind. No two mugs are exactly the same so please take this into account. My mugs all vary in size so please read all of the product descriptions before buying. I try to accurately represent colors in the photos listed, but screen settings are different on every device so it could vary slightly from your screen versus in person. My technique causes folds to occur on the mug, so please look at all photographs to ensure this is something you like. My technique also has a very rustic look. It looks like pieces of the glaze are chipped off. This is not the case and it is a part of my style. Some of my pieces also have some bubbles on the outside of the pieces. This is because of my process. Some air gets between the transfer and the clay body and it causes some bubbles. I personally like the tactile feel it gives and choose to keep this as a part of my aesthetic. Again, please look at all photos to make sure that you like it. I take photos from every angle to ensure that you know what the piece(s) you are purchasing are something that you like! Making handmade ceramics is something that is very personal because it requires a human touch through all parts of production to create. I like that my pieces look like they are made by a human. Although, this may not be everyone's cup of tea and that's okay!

DO YOU ACCEPT CUSTOM ORDERS?

At this time, I do not accept custom orders. My schedule right now does not allow me adequate time to invest into custom orders.

ARE PIECES MICROWAVE AND DISHWASHER SAFE?

All of my items, other than soap dispensers, are microwave and dishwasher safe. Ceramics tend to last longer if they are hand washed with care, but they will survive in the dishwasher as long as they are not banged around. Ceramics are not indestructible. They will break or chip if they are knocked around or dropped.
